The history of the organization is closely linked with the life of António Silva and Albina Santos, its founders.
In the early days of their married life, the couple had a normal routine until they were challenged by a friend to sell brooms. By using their free time for this task they realized the potential of the opportunity.
the turning point
The turning point comes in 1987 when they decide to buy their first broom filling machine and employ the operators who had the know-how to operate it. Thus, with the beginning of its manufacture, they opened the gates for a strong investment in product quality and own brand – SIBINA – which, still today, identifies and differentiates our products in the market.

The company starts to be bold with Pedro’s arrival. The partner, manager and son of the founders, brought to the family business a competitive spirit that, coupled with a new market vision, motivates some of the investments that grow the firm’s turnover by moving it to international reality.
